Starry Night Coffee & Crepes offers a cozy, laid-back spot in Cary where the draw goes beyond just caffeine — it’s a place where mornings and lazy afternoons unfold over thoughtfully crafted coffee and a wide array of crepes and waffles. Nestled on Crossroads Boulevard, this café feels intimate without being cramped, striking a balance between enough seating for small groups and a quiet setting where you won’t feel rushed or lost in a crowd.

Walking in, you'll likely notice the Van Gogh-inspired décor, which sets a calm, artsy tone that complements the relaxed pace. The café is ideal for anyone who appreciates a slower morning, something to pair with their house blends or a specialty latte — like their Starry Night Latte — brewed with care and served with choices of milk alternatives. For locals who want their caffeine fix along with a breakfast or brunch that’s more than the standard fare, Starry Night’s crepes shine as the centerpiece.

The menu is approachable but has flexibility for different tastes and dietary preferences, including gluten-free options and customizable sweet and savory crepes. Popular picks like the Banana Nutella Crepe and Eggs Benedict Waffle reveal a kitchen that focuses on comfort and familiar flavors with a twist. The option to add fresh fruit, ice cream, or extra toppings means this is a spot where guests can tailor their meal to suit a simple craving or a more indulgent breakfast treat.

Service here feels personal — friendly staff greet you warmly, ready to guide newcomers through the menu without pressure. The size and style of the space lean into connection: it’s the kind of place where baristas know regular customers by name and where couples or small friend groups can settle in without fighting the noise of a bustling environment.

Starry Night Coffee & Crepes works well for a weekend brunch, a quiet midweek pick-me-up, or a casual meet-up spot in Cary’s growing dining scene. If you’re passing through Crossroads Blvd or looking for a peaceful nook to enjoy a well-made coffee and a plate that’s easy to share, this café offers a solid, down-to-earth option that feels thoughtfully crafted for the neighborhood.

When I stepped into Starry Night with my fiancé, I was instantly enamored by by the Starry Night painting along the wall. I love the seating. It’s small but comfy. I don’t like coffee shops that are big and bustling. It’s very overwhelming. Janae and Chris greeted me with smiles and amazing customer service. They made recommendations and walked me through the menu. I had the bananas foster crepe. It was very tasty and I also had a caramel macchiato. And my fiancé had a waffle sandwich with meat and cheese and egg and a blended drink. I will definitely be back here probably every day lol. Everyone should come to starry night and enjoy a trip with their friend

11/10 customer service, delicious crepes and waffles! The coffee is also awesome! The waffle sandwich was good, but the waffle by itself was better. Definitely coming back! (Not a ton of seating, only a couple spots for four or more adults)

I was around the area and needed to kill time so stumbled upon this coffee shop. From the second I walked in I was greeted with the warmest “Welcome” and a warm smile! Already felt like the experience was going to be great! They had a wide range of amazing coffee selection I had a hard time choosing and landed for their Starry Night Latte and ordered their Monte Cristo crepe! Everything was amazing and love the Van Gogh inspired aesthetic! Highly recommend stopping by for a quick snack and fun coffee selection!

Delicious coffee and crepes, helpful service, and a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. As a huge Van Gogh fan, I might be biased but I think anyone could appreciate it. Very reasonably priced menu. Highly recommend. I will definitely visit again.

They are so kind here. The place is very clean and there is ample seating inside and outside. It’s very affordable in my opinion and the presentation of their food is great. They’re also pretty quick about getting orders out. Would 100% visit again! Update: did visit again, it’s mom approved!

Every time I come here, it gets better! The employees are all so happy to be there and that itself makes me want to come back. The honey bear coffee tastes just like honey grahams!! With a little extra nutmeg in there. The Nutella latte tastes like hot chocolate. The French kiss latte is similar to the honey bear but a little less if that makes sense- perfect for when you don’t want too much. It’s my top favorite! Their coffee isn’t bitter or too sweet, it’s so perfect. That’s the only and best way to describe the coffee- perfect. Edit: I’ve had every specialty coffee on their menu, NONE of them disappoint. I just got the Starry Night Latte, let me tell you. It tastes JUST LIKE a chocolate covered cherry, on the dot. This is definitely a new go-to:) ALL of them hit every. single. time. These people are coffee masterminds. The only coffee I don’t care for is the Vincent latte, I think it’s the blackberry flavor I don’t like. I DID drink the entire thing without a care, however. This is definitely a hidden gem cafe.

We are coming back tomorrow. They are super nice and the crepes are amazing! They have gluten free oat flour for the crepes. They are delicious! Good coffee too! We did in fact return the next day and got the eggs Benedict gluten free crepes . I’m stuffed. The crepes are fantastic! Thank you SO much!!!

I have a gluten allergy and they take necessary precautions to avoid cross contamination. The crepes and waffles are so good! Staff is very welcoming, love the atmosphere. Definitely my new favorite breakfast spot.
